Born in the picturesque town of Aviano, Italy, Sabrina Puppin, an artist, currently divides her time between the vibrant landscapes of Doha, Qatar, and the bustling streets of New York City. Puppin’s artistic journey is a fusion of cultures, colors, and emotions.

Puppin’s art transcends mere representation; it delves deep into the realm of perception and interpretation. With a masterful command of color, shape, and form, she constructs compositions that blur the lines between reality and abstraction. Each brushstroke is imbued with intention, yet there’s an inherent spontaneity that breathes life into her creations.

“I use the visual language of color, shape, and form to create compositions in which the world as seen and known begins to dematerialize and the underlying spatial relationship becomes apparent,” Puppin explains. Her work is a testament to the power of intuition and controlled chaos, where the medium itself becomes a partner in the artistic dialogue.

Puppin’s latest piece, inspired by the nuanced shades of grey punctuated by bursts of yellow taxis in New York City, is a testament to her unique perspective. “I don’t represent what I see, but I depict impressions and feelings I experience while looking at the world around me,” she muses.

Currently featured in “The Land of Silence” exhibition at the Musa Pavilion, Venice, as part of the collateral events of the 60th Venice Biennale 2024, Puppin’s work continues to captivate audiences worldwide. Through her art, she invites viewers to explore the intangible aspects of reality and embark on a journey of introspection and discovery.

In a world saturated with images and noise, Sabrina Puppin’s art serves as a beacon of contemplation and reflection. It challenges us to look beyond the surface and seek meaning in the spaces between colors and forms. For Puppin, art is not just a visual medium—it’s a gateway to understanding the intricate dance between perception and reality.

Her artistic process is a harmonious blend of spontaneity and control. She allows the paint to flow freely, yet maintains a meticulous focus on composition and spatial relationships. This duality is evident in her work, where vibrant hues coalesce into ethereal landscapes, inviting viewers to lose themselves in the beauty of the unknown.

Puppin’s global perspective infuses her art with a sense of universality. Whether she’s capturing the vibrant energy of New York City or the serene beauty of the Qatari desert, her work speaks to the shared human experience. It transcends cultural boundaries, inviting viewers from all walks of life to find solace and inspiration in its depths.

Through Puppin’s bold exploration of color, shape, and form, she invites us to reimagine the world around us and discover beauty in the most unexpected places. In an age of uncertainty and upheaval, Puppin’s art is a source of hope and wonder—a testament to the enduring power of creativity to illuminate the darkness and reveal the hidden truths that lie beneath the surface.
