Natali Antonovich’s way has always been tied with fine art. She started with graphics and portraits, was engaged in batik for a while, and taught fine arts and art history. At present, she is more interested in oil painting and watercolor. The main series of works she has been working on lately are ‘Who are you?’, ‘Heart on the snow’, ‘Their secret’, ‘Eternity’… All these themes reflect in some way in each other and look for the eternal secret of love and the universe. She would attribute her work to such a style in art as mystical realism and fantastic realism. There are a lot of symbolic signs, hints, and ideas that miraculously visit her brain. On the other hand, they present a moment of romanticism and literary character. The spectator, as if visually, experiences a novel, a play, a story, or a poem. Her works are designed for curious people, people with a cosmic attitude, and fanciers looking for a key to reading the superreal. And also for those for whom the uniqueness of human beings, their soul, and connection with the Earth and Heaven is important.

Natali Antonovich’s artistic journey is a testament to her deep connection with fine art. Beginning with graphics and portraits, she later explored batik, a technique that allowed her to experiment with colors and textures in a unique way. Teaching fine arts and art history provided her with a profound understanding of various artistic techniques and movements, which she now integrates into her current work with oil painting and watercolor.

Antonovich’s artistic style, which she describes as mystical realism and fantastic realism, is characterized by a deep sense of symbolism and romanticism. Her paintings are rich with symbolic signs and hints, each piece inviting the viewer to explore deeper meanings and narratives. Her works are more than just visual art; they are stories, plays, novels, and poems that unfold before the eyes of the spectator.

Her recent series, such as “Who are you?”, “Heart on the snow”, “Their secret”, and “Eternity”, all interweave themes of love and the universe. These works delve into the eternal secrets of existence, love, and the cosmos, offering a visual experience that is both profound and thought-provoking. Each painting is a journey into the unknown, a quest for understanding the deeper connections between human beings and the universe.

Antonovich’s work is aimed at those with a curious mind and a cosmic attitude. She creates for people who seek to understand the superreal, those who appreciate the uniqueness of the human soul and its connection to both Earth and Heaven. Her paintings are a reflection of her own quest for understanding, filled with symbolic messages that challenge the viewer to look beyond the surface.

One of her notable works, “Eternal Wanderers,” is a prime example of her mystical and fantastic realism. This oil on canvas painting is part of the “Who are you?” series. It depicts two lightning bolts as lonely wanderers, searching for each other, uncertain of where the boat of fate will lead them. This piece encapsulates the essence of Antonovich’s art – a blend of symbolism, narrative, and cosmic exploration.

Antonovich’s paintings are designed to be more than just visual art. They are meant to be experienced as a narrative, a play, or a poem. Her works are rich in romanticism and literary character, offering a visual experience that is both engaging and emotionally resonant. Each piece invites the viewer to become part of the story, to explore the deeper meanings and connections within the artwork.

For Antonovich, art is a means of exploring the connections between humans and the cosmos. Her works reflect her belief in the uniqueness of the human being, the soul’s connection to the Earth and Heaven, and the eternal search for understanding. Her paintings are a reflection of her own cosmic attitude, inviting the viewer to join her on a journey of exploration and discovery.

Natali Antonovich’s art is a unique blend of mystical realism, fantastic realism, and romanticism. Her works are rich with symbolic signs and hints, offering a visual experience that is both engaging and thought-provoking. Designed for the curious and those with a cosmic attitude, her paintings explore the deeper connections between humans and the universe, inviting the viewer to embark on a journey of exploration and discovery. Whether through the themes of love and the universe in her series or the symbolic narratives in her individual works, Antonovich’s art is a testament to the power of fine art to explore the mysteries of existence.
