Myriam Bussiere is a French artist, a vibrant and spirited creator from Drummondville, Quebec, Canada. Born on August 3, 1985, Myriam’s journey into the colorful realm of art began at a tender age, thanks to the guiding hand of her grandmother.

As a child, Myriam was introduced to the enchanting world of painting on canvas by her grandmother. This early exposure ignited a passion in her that would later blossom into a full-fledged artistic career. Fast forward to 2018, and Myriam’s path crossed with Mélanie Poirier, an artist and gallerist at Galerie mp tresart in Durham-Sud, Quebec. This meeting proved to be a pivotal moment in Myriam’s artistic journey. Under Mélanie’s guidance, Myriam learned several painting techniques, further enhancing her skills and broadening her artistic horizons.

One of the most ambitious projects that Myriam has undertaken was in 2020 when she created a mural titled “TRUE LOVE.” This monumental piece of art, measuring 10 feet by 7 feet, was crafted using a staggering 157 gallons of recycled paint. The mural, a testament to Myriam’s creativity and commitment to sustainability, is proudly displayed at Galerie mp tresart, where art enthusiasts and visitors can marvel at its beauty and intricate details.

What sets Myriam’s work apart is not just its originality and vibrancy but also the materials she chooses to work with. A staunch advocate for environmental sustainability, Myriam creates her artworks using recycled materials such as wood, metal, plastic, and cardboard. Through her art, she sends a powerful message about the importance of recycling and the potential beauty that can be created from discarded and overlooked materials.

When it comes to inspiration, Myriam draws inspiration from a diverse range of artists, including the likes of Mr. Brainwash, Banksy, and, of course, her mentor, Mélanie Poirier. Their works, each unique in its own right, have influenced and shaped Myriam’s artistic style, helping her carve out a niche for herself in the art world.

Since 2019, Myriam has been exhibiting her captivating works at Galerie mp tresart in Durham-Sud, Quebec, gaining recognition and appreciation from both critics and art enthusiasts alike. Her works, described as original, colorful, thoughtful, and often infused with humor, have resonated with audiences.

For those who are eager to add a touch of Myriam’s magic to their art collection or simply wish to admire her creations, her online store offers a curated selection of her artworks. From vibrant paintings to intricate sculptures, there’s something for everyone to enjoy and appreciate.

In conclusion, Myriam Bussiere is not just an artist; she is a storyteller, a visionary, and an advocate for change. Through her art, she encourages us to see the beauty in the world around us, to appreciate the importance of recycling, and to embrace our creativity. As Myriam herself aptly puts it, “Art is good vitamin,” reminding us all of the nourishing and transformative power of art in our lives.
